Pictures from the January Nashville Photowalk

A few pictures from this afternoons photo walk with some friends from tennspeed.net. I was pretty happy with how they came out.

Got my hands on a 5D mark II, it is an amazing camera, and really made my XT Rebel feel old, but it still does it’s job.

I mostly used my kit 18-55mm lens and my 85mm canon prime. Slight overcast day, and a cold one at that.

Thank goodness.

After having a panic attack for the last hour and a half of fretting around and trying to figure out what piece of code I deleted to make the footer of this very website disappear. I know it may seam like no big deal, but it can wreck havoc on the SEO structure of the site and cause it to malfunction.

In other news, lol, it’s about 4 degrees outside and I am already tired of winter. I want to be back out on the track, and shoot more cars. This Saturday I will be taking a photowalk down town Nashville, with some fellow photographers from tennspeed.net. Should make for a good time.

Speaking of photography, I have slowly gotten back into it. I can’t wait to see what this year brings, both experience wise and self fulfillment.

2009 Is here, and I am in for a ride that’s for sure. In 364 days after tonight, where will you be?

Here’s a little re-cap on my last 365.

January ’08 I met Tiffany, my wonderful girlfriend.

February ’08 I caught the flu, that’s all that comes to mind, lol, it was a night spent in the hospital that cost me 600 bucks. Heathcare is laughable at best.

March ’08 I bought my first and last brand new car, my Honda Fit. A mistake? No. Stupid? Yes.

April ’08 Headed to Deals Gap for the first time, need to head back up that way soon.

May ’08 D.G. Trials at Nashville Super Speedway. My first automotive race event that I had gotten press passes to.

June ’08 Started to watch the Economy of the World fall apart. Witnessed the car buisness slow way down, with my previous job.  Nothing like not knowing which way the wind is blowing. I would be laid off at the end of the month.

July ’08 Half way through the year. I would watch the fireworks with Tiffany in Mt. Juliet. By the end of the month I would move in with her in Nashville.

August ’08 I would turn 22. And land a job at Custom Display Manufacturing. Where I currently work.

September ’08 I shot a few cars local to the area, and would head to Bowling Green, KY for the first time in a few years. It was good to see some intense straight line action for the first time in a while.

October’08 Started laying low, and laid off the internet, lol, not sure why. Possibly due to my 42″ TV and xbox. I played alot of games for the next couple months and gained about 15 pounds in the process.

November ’08 I would head to Dallas to see my Dad, and the rest of my family, some of who I had not seen in over a year. It was a great Thanksgiving.

And finally December ’08 I would have a wonderful Christmas and spent some time with my Mom, and Tiffany’s family.

A few day’s ago I also learned that I would finally get a published feature with my buddy James Evins.
We shot Richie’s Honda Civic, and It will be out on news stands in the next couple weeks. Below is a preview. I would appreciate it greatly if you would pick up a copy.
