Soon after moving to Knoxville I was hired at ADESA Inc., I am the E-Commerce administrator as well as the IT Field Coordinator.

Lately I’ve laid off the photography and webdesign, just maintaining current projects. I’ve been using the extra time to dedicate to my car a passion I enjoy much more than trying to impress someone on the internet with my work. Next spring I’ll be attending a few high performance driving events to tune my driving skills. I’ll also begin building my motor, I plan to squeeze 230 horsepower out of it. It’ll be a challenge, as the stock motor just does over 160hp to the wheels.

There will be more to come on the car stuff, I’m working on a collaboration on a new a automotive blog for the enthusiast. I’ve retired miles magazine, and plan on taking that concept to the next level. I’ll keep everyone posted on the web url when everything gets nailed down.

That’s about it for now. I know it’s not that exciting of an update.

I was hired about a month ago with ADESA auto auction in Knoxville, taking care of their e-commerce department.

I have been working with a new client to begin work on their website. TYFOMOTO.com, an automotive supplier. Hopefully it works out good for me, as I could use the parts hook up for the Integra as I prepare it for auto-x and road racing. I won’t be going to wild with the Integra as I am not happy with the car as a platform to build off of, but it is a straight body car and runs good so I’ll get some seat time with it this year and probably next. Hopefully I can fulfill my quest for a 94 or 95 RS integra to build a type-r clone, or come across a good deal on a 97 spec ITR. We’ll see what happens in a couple years. Hopefully I’ll have time to get some pictures posted of the integra as it sits now, it has came along way since I bought it. The brakes and suspension will be taken care of soon, I have bilstein struts and neuspeed springs ready to go on it, as well as a complete refresh of the brake system.

As some of you may know I am a huge, HUGE fan of the halo series. I recently started playing halo 3 once again, just to have something to do to clear my mind after being stuck indoors during the cold winter. Well I was playing until I got the dreaded e73 error on my box, but it’s out for repair and will be back soon. Anyways, Marty O’Donnell is a cool dude, reading some of his biography was refreshing. I am excited to see what he brings to the table in Halo:Reach.

First and foremost: Grow my business and make if official. Over the last couple of months I have been refreshing my Inkwell Design Studios website. I will soon be taking the legal steps to make it a business, and employ myself to grow it in to something successful that pays my bills and more. Hopefully I can profit enough money off of it this year to allow myself to go back to school and gain new knowledge on the newest technologies.

Knoxville, TN is now home to me. I moved here on Halloween of 2009, and hope to call this place home for a lasting while. Things are good between me and my girlfriend Tiffany, and talking about settling down and all that jazz. Engagement rings are expensive. See goal one, “make enough profit to go back to school”, I better add to that and make enough to pay for that ring setting too. Love you babe. I have been scouting out local web development groups and hope to meet some people that have some of the same interests as me and see if we can partner up and benefit off of each other’s services.

I haven’t had much luck on finding a job at the moment. The economy isn’t that great here, but I have good intentions, this week I am going to meet with a few people on discussions of work. I am trying to start up the Knoxville territory with a company called auto uplink, doing the automotive inventory management that I was doing a couple years back. There product is much better than that of the companies I used to work for, the technology is much better.

While browsing around on the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce’s site I did learn a few cool things about the city.

My goals for 2010 are to loose a few pounds, LOL, and grow my business into something successful.
